Dog Handler and Cuddler

Ailsa has been an avid animal lover since a small child having grown up in Leeds with her family who rescued dogs and cats. As a child and into her teen she also volunteered for several years as an Animal Care Assistant & Fosterer for Cats Protection.

Ailsa’s love of animals led her to achieve a First Class Bachelor of Science Degree studying Zoology at Queen Mary University of London, during which time she also studied evolution, taxonomy, ecology and went on field trips to study tropical ecology in South Africa and dinosaurs in Canada.

Ailsa worked for another Doggy Day Care for a year before joining Pets in the City in March 2023, she now loves working with the dogs, playing games and training basic obedience.  When not working Ailsa enjoys playing the guitar, cycling, walking and going to pubs and drag shows with her buddies.
