Dog Walker

Michaela has a wealth of experience in dog care having grown up with dogs and looking after them throughout her childhood in her native Czech Republic.

Michaela started with us at Pets in the City as a dog handler in 2014, she now works in both our branches as our main dog handler, setting the daily routines and exercise programmes ensuring all our dogs needs are met, tailoring exercise and diet to each individual.  She takes great pride in making sure the dogs are happy and having fun and is also a dab hand at grooming (she is on her way to achieving her City & Guilds in Professional Dog Grooming Level 3 shortly).

Outside of work Michaela is a 3rd degree black belt in Taekwondo and likes all kinds of sport from martial arts to athletics.  She can almost outrun all of our dogs!!!

Her hobbies are travelling, camping, boating and animal photography and she recently started taking rock drum lessons which are a lot of fun!
