Pets in the City Founder & Owner

Growing up on her parents’ farm in Lincolnshire with Dachshunds to Labradors, Jack Russell’s to Whippets and many, many rescue dogs, has provided Sarah with a huge amount of breed knowledge and a wealth of experience in handling both domestic and working dogs.   

After working as Director of Events for the Business Design Centre in Islington for over 7 years, Sarah combined her business skills and love of animals to establish Pets in the City in 2005 providing discerning dog owners with one of the first professional Day Care and Dog Walking services in London.  Sarah is now known as one of the most well respected, knowledgeable and reputable people in the business which is reflected in her loyal clientele.

In 2018 due to popular demand from her London clients Sarah opened Humphrey & Bo, a beautiful Hotel and Country Club for Dogs in the picturesque Dorset countryside.   Sarah says, ‘I have always wanted to create a Soho House style club for dogs, why should the humans have all the fun!’

Outside of work Sarah is a lover of sport, travelling, cooking, creative arts and has most recently taken to becoming a horticultural nerd in her garden! Sarah lives with her Husband James, twin boys Charlie & Felix and Humphrey their Bernese Mountain Dog.
